The Magic Waveboard returns with five all-new shapes. Thruster, quad or twin, they are the ultra-versatile wave boards designed and validated by the Dream Wave Team on the PWA tour. Five lightweight Starboxes weigh the same as three regular fin boxes, so versatility doesn’t come at a price. The pro-model of PWA Champion and Red Bull Storm Chase Winner Jaeger Stone.

What's new?

78 / 82: The two smallest sizes are designed by Mark and Jaeger Stone. The new 78 comes with thinner rails in the tail, slightly more tail kick, an increased overall thickness of 5 mm and 1cm more width to make it more versatile and cover more range. The Ultrakode 82 has a more compact length with a shorter tail and more thickness. The overall result is more control, more maneuverability when riding waves in light winds and a wider range.

86 / 93 / 100: The largest sizes are designed by Albert Pijoan. Length has been reduced from 226 to 218 cm on the Ultrakode 93 to give more control in high winds. This gives the option of using a larger board in high winds to make sure you always have volume to spare. The new shapes are 1 cm thicker with extra volume concentrated on the center line of the board to improve lightwind sailing. On the other hand, the rails are thinner to improve control and wave riding performance. 8mm more tail kick, a more constant curve from the tail to 100 cm improve carving maneuverability and a moderate V on the center section keeps the board fast for onshore conditions.

FIN SET-UP

Five fin boxes: set up as quad, thruster, twin or single fin according to conditions of the day and riding style. All models are supplied with new Stone signature Black G-10 thruster fins by Drake.

Swallow tail on all sizes shortens the board and adds more grip

ROCKERLINE

UltraKodes feature fast rockerlines in the planing surface area for speed and early-planing, combined with concaved bottom shapes to create grip and precise rail to rail transitions.

All UltraKodes, from the 78 to the 100: double concave throughout the bottom.

STARBOX = SLOT AND US BOX

The StarBox fits notched Slot Box fins for fast fit-'n-go system. It also fits US box fins for the classic system that pivots to reduce fin damage if you hit the reef. Lightweight (13 grams) plugs seal unused boxes to reduce drag. Insert and secure them like you would with a Slot Box fin. To remove the plugs, loosen the side screw and push down gently on the front of the plug.

YULEX FOOTSTRAPS AND THICK PADS

The Drake footstraps are made with FSC-certified, sustainably sourced and plant-based Yulex foam. With 85% natural rubber content, CO² emitted during the manufacturing process is reduced by 80%. The remaining 15% of synthetic neoprene is kept to improve UV resistance. Carefully sourced with the smoothest fabric for a comfortable feel. The UltraKodes feature 10mm thick footpads with a diamond grooving pattern that provides grip and comfort over extended sessions while being resistant to wear-and-tear.

Designed with the lowest carbon footprint in mind, Starboard's new Wood Sandwich technology is a full deck and bottom sandwich construction finished with a 0.6mm Australian pine wood bottom. A high-performance PVC sandwich core is used on the entire bottom and the deck's tail areas for maximum stiffness, maximum durability and minimum weight. The deck is further reinforced with layers of uni-directional carbon and flax fibres for added strength and stiffness. Our most durable tech.
