Starboard Carbon SuperFlyer Evolution C300

The SuperFlyer is the next level up from the SuperCruiser. It offers similar riding characteristics with a bit more glide and speed.

MORE POWER, NEUTRAL OR LESS POWER?
TAIL WING TRIM:
Most racers like to fly with more front-foot pressure, which equates to more power and more upwind drive.

Out of the box, start with the 0° spacer.
Add tail wing angle in 0.5° increments to add the amount of front-foot pressure you like most. The windier it is, the more you'll need to reduce tail wing angle to reduce power. The lighter the wind, the more you'll tend to add tail wing angle to boost power.

For additional protection, Starboard Foils Wing Covers and the Starboard Foils Team Bags are available to purchase separately.

*The SuperFlyer geometry and wings work superbly for wing foiling. Its mast uses a Foil Box board-mounting system while most wing boards use the top plate system. A top plate adapter may therefore be required or swap the mast for a top plate mast.

INTRODUCING THE EVOLUTION GENERATION

In 2017, Starboard Foils introduced the Original foil collection that immediately set a new performance benchmark. This generation brought with it innovations such as the racing fuselage, the carbon/metal hybrid construction and the all-torx assembly system - innovations adopted today by most other foil brands.

In 2019, we introduced the revolutionary High Efficiency Geometry with the Plus generation. By moving the front wing forward, the tail wing could be set at a lower angle, significantly increasing flight efficiency and control.

Today, we launch the Evolution generation.

WHAT IS EVOLUTION?

The Evolution fuselages remove the front bulb to enhance water flow, maximise front wing efficiency and reduce drag. Your foil cuts through water smoother, faster and effortlessly.

The new mini-bridge for the front wing saddle adds stiffness for more flight control

The tail wing saddle and the mast mounting sections remain unchanged, so tail wings and masts from the Original generation and the Plus generation remain compatible.

C400
The new ultra-high modulus carbon construction first used on the iQFoil mast. This ultra-high modulus carbon spec increases stiffness for more control and maximum performance.

C600
The ultimate carbon spec. Exotic, exclusive, expensive. A limited run of masts from the 95cm 87° mold and the new 95cm 90° mold were built to the C600 spec. The ultimate in stability, control, power and performance. Available exclusively as an upgrade part.

NEW FOR 2022:

THE 90° MAST

The new 90° mast adds power to your foil by shifting the wings and fuselage 5cm further forward.

More power means more torsional load on the mast - so this 90° mast is available exclusively in C400 and C600.
