Since its introduction, this line has been a magical mix of everything an advanced rider wants from their funboard. While the originals focused on lightness, the second generation was more agile and lively. This 3rd generation shapes feature significantly improved control at speed and choppy water, resulting in a sporty and energetic character that is incredibly easy to handle. This makes these boards ride smoothly and quickly. They jibe readily and carve into and through turns with ease. They surprise as JP's most playful and maneuver-oriented freeride boards. The magic of these boards takes performance and fun to the next level.

The Magic Ride is the undisputed “gentleman of the turn” in the freeride class: when gybing, it feels effortless and refined, even in difficult seas. The MR still retains its respected autopilot qualities, requires little input from the driver and its forgiveness will pamper the advanced driver and increase their jibe success rate. It's never been easier to enter a turn and come out on a glide, even at lower speeds - and gliding through jibes is everyone's dream!

At the same time, its rail bite and cornering reliability will encourage the more advanced rider to push harder and corner with full abandon: tighter and tighter corners, classic freestyle like duck hybes and carving 360s are the order of the day. The Magic Ride can be described as a larger freestyle wave and is JP's most playful and forgiving maneuvering freeride board.

The true freerider: The amazing thing about this board line is its lightness and smoothness. You step on it and everything will happen in a natural and predictable way. The feeling is “familiar” – like putting on an old pair of shoes: it just fits! Relaxed and confident, you can achieve more speed than with previous generations of freeride boards. Despite these easy driving characteristics, performance and agility are not compromised in any way. Magic Ride 159: Longer than the other sizes, stable and accessible, making it the perfect board for anyone moving down from an entry-level board with a sword. It is specially designed for easy, early planing! Experiencing the feeling of sliding and becoming addicted to that feeling is natural.
