“See the ocean – see the future.” The Vision allows you to glimpse beneath the water's surface. One of the most popular kids' boards, especially in clear water locations. Its 38" width provides ample stability, and the bungee tie-downs at the nose and tail accommodate plenty of gear. A fantastic touring board for family vacations.

Since 2019, Starboard has produced all inflatables with laminated rails using a sophisticated welding technique. The top and bottom layers are welded to the rails, creating a single unit – without glue, as glue doesn't last forever. Leaky seams are a thing of the past. Welding the rounded shape of the bow and stern edges is technically very demanding. Combined with the woven layers of the deck and bottom (dropstitch), Starboard sets the benchmark for durable, shape-stable, and high-quality inflatable SUP boards.

After 5 years of development, the inflatable construction has been improved. Light and stable, yet stiff and responsive – that was the goal. Since 2020, our Drop Stitch material in Deluxe Double Chamber and Deluxe Single Chamber models is woven, not knitted, allowing it to stretch only diagonally. This reduces material usage and ensures diagonal expansion only. The result is a significantly stiffer board, as more pressure can be absorbed. Material waste is also considerably less. Our “Woven Technology” improves our inflatable boards in every aspect. Less weight, better acceleration, easier to transport. “Woven Drop Stitch Technology”. It’s the future.

Our lightest boards in the range. The new ZEN boards, featuring single-layer LINEAR dropstitch construction and welded rails, are stiffer and more stable than ever before. The dropstitch material was developed in collaboration between Starboard SUP and its producers and is used ONLY in our boards. The rails are welded together using a new technology into a single layer. This makes them significantly more durable, environmentally friendly, and lighter than conventional glued rails. Laminated rails are so special because welding the rounded shape of the bow and stern edges is technically very demanding. New in 2021: The ZEN series is also equipped with galvanized 2000D rail bands, which provide even more stiffness and performance.
