Severne Gator 2024

The Gator is an all-round freeride / freewave / blasting sail. It moves you forward quickly and maximizes stoke.

The new Gator combines performance and durability and is the ultimate all-rounder. It glides early, changes direction easily in the gybes, and is made entirely from X-Ply materials to handle all conditions - from light wind freeride to high wind blasting. The 024 Gator model combines technologies originally developed for both the Wave program and the Race program to deliver true crossover performance.

TECHNOLOGY

DOUBLE SEAMS

All Severne wave sails have 25 mm thick, double-stitched window seams.

The wider, single-color seam tape ensures maximum tear resistance and fall protection

EM3

Combines the performance of E-Series materials with maximum durability. The addition of a pre-impregnated polyester structure has created unique tear-resistant properties.

Off-axis loads are transmitted through the 22 degree X-layer fibers. The red and new blue adhesive maintain UV resistance and tear resistance, while the reduced film thickness significantly reduces weight.

Using it in the upper panels not only reduces the overall weight of the sail, but also the swing weight, improving maneuverability and control.

SPIDER FIBER

A network of fiberglass filaments that distributes loads across the seams and throughout the sail body.

By using stronger, lighter fibers and reducing sail seams, we can measurably reduce weight and swing weight while increasing strength.

SEAMLESS FOOT CONSTRUCTION

A single panel in the foot area with hidden stress patches and no exposed seams prevents seam abrasion and seam creep in this high-stress area.

Maximum durability and minimum weight.

MOLDED SOFT EDGE

With recessed grooves that hide any vulnerable seams, the molded soft edge hugs the hard edge of the sail and protects the seams from wear along the board.

THERMOFORMED TACK FAIRING

Protects your board from impacts and covers the foot parts cleanly.

You can easily store your downhaul rope in the integrated rope bag.
