Since its introduction in 2011, the JP Super Lightwind has remained virtually unrivaled as one of the few dedicated light-wind machines on the market. It starts planing in almost no wind, reaches top speeds instantly, and remains surprisingly comfortable and smooth-running for its size. For those who don’t want to foil, this is the most efficient board to get on a plane in minimal wind conditions.

This is already the fifth shape generation of this unique board design. Like its predecessors, it benefits from the constant shape developments of the Slalom and Super Sport boards, as well as the HydroFoil performance models. This makes it the most versatile tool for those light-wind days, regardless of whether you want to set the board up with a classic fin or a foil.

You have to try it for yourself to believe how much fun you can have in barely perceptible wind. The board offers true "light wind blasting" and provides a lively, electrifying ride. The construction combines Werner Gnigler’s slalom expertise with the comfort of a freeride board, guaranteeing maximum efficiency for every session.

Thanks to the thin rails and the comfortable, parallel stance, the board feels significantly smaller and more agile underfoot than its dimensions would suggest. The long outline curve ensures a smooth, effortless transition from non-planing to planing, while the tail cut-outs provide the necessary control at top speed.
