The X-Wing Performance defines the next generation in Armstrong's wing lineup. Lightweight high-performance materials, refined airframe geometry, and a dual-tech canopy work together to deliver reactive power, intuitive control, and greater efficiency across the wind range.

The X-Wing Performance defines the next generation in Armstrong's wing lineup. Designed for riders chasing greater efficiency, speed, and composed handling, it delivers reactive power and intuitive control in a lightweight, high-performance package.

A refined high aspect geometry, advanced airframe materials, and dual-tech canopy layout work together to reduce distortion, maintain tension, and deliver smooth, efficient power across the wind range. Constructed using ULTRA-PE X-PLY Advanced Laminate Composite material, the X-Wing feels light, responsive, and balanced whether fully powered or flagged in surf.

Carbon boom sold separately.

Features & Technology

High Aspect Airframe (Efficiency, Refined)

A refined high aspect geometry delivers increased efficiency, smoother forward drive, and composed handling at speed. The X-Wing feels reactive and intuitive in hand while maintaining excellent control across a broad wind range.

Dyna-Link Locking Boom System

Dyna-Link is a simple locking boom system for the X-Wing Performance. It allows you to assemble quickly and easily with zero hardware, and is ultra solid in flight.

Dual-Tech Canopy (Controlled Power)

The XPS canopy layout and longitudinal span panels work together to manage load distribution and maintain canopy tension where it matters most. The result is cleaner power delivery, greater stability, and efficient performance when fully lit.

Choose the A-Wing XPS Mk II if you want one wing that does it all.

The A-Wing XPS Mk II is built for versatility. It is the wing you reach for when you want easy handling, strong stability and dependable performance across a wide range of conditions.

It suits riders who enjoy a mix of freeride, freestyle, wave riding and local racing. The lower aspect airframe gives the wing a stable, comfortable feel, especially in gusty or stronger wind, making it easy to manage through transitions, tacks, gybes and powered riding.

With the Dyna Link handle system, riders can choose between carbon handles or a boom, giving more flexibility in setup and feel.

The A-Wing XPS Mk II is the best choice if you want a wing that feels intuitive, reliable and ready for almost any session.

Choose the X-Wing if you want more performance and efficiency.

The X-Wing sits above the A-Wing XPS Mk II in the range and is designed for riders who want to go faster, glide further and ride with more efficiency.

The higher aspect design, reduced leading edge diameter and Ultra PE X-Ply airframe create a lighter, faster feel in hand. It builds speed smoothly, generates apparent wind efficiently and maintains glide with less input from the rider.

This makes it ideal for freeride and powered riding, especially for riders who want a more refined, performance driven wing.

The X-Wing is not about replacing the A-Wing XPS Mk II. It is about adding a higher performance option to the range for riders who want to push their riding further.

For many riders, the A-Wing XPS Mk II will be the foundation of the quiver. It covers the widest range of conditions and gives a stable, familiar feel when the wind is changing or the session is more varied.
